This a simple white oyster stew recipe.

Ingredients:

1 pint oysters with liquor
1 stick butter
1 cup fish stock or chicken stock
1 medium onion, chopped
1 potato, diced
3/4 cup dry white wine
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 tsp. parsley

Instructions:

  1. Simmer the butter, stock, wine, and vegetables until the vegetables begin to get tender.
  2. Add the oysters and cream, and simmer until the edges of the oysters curl.
  3. Garnish with parsley when done.
