| A tradtional oyster stew.
Servings: 3 | |
| Ingredients: 1 pint oysters with liquor 1 stick butter 1 cup fish stock or chicken stock 1 medium onion, chopped 1 potato, diced 3/4 cup dry white wine 2/3 cup heavy cream 1 tsp. parsley found at http://www.fresh-seafood.net/ |

| Instructions: Simmer the butter, stock, wine and vegetables until the vegetables begin to get tender. Add the oysters and cream, and simmer until the edges of the oysters curl. Garnish with parsley when done. |
