Sweet-and-Sour Fish

A sweet-and-sour fish

Servings: 4

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
1 lb. frozen fish sticks
3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons cooking oil
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon granules
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions:
Bake fish sticks following package directions; cut into 1-inch pieces.

Meanwhile, in a 3-quart saucepan cook green pepper, carrot, and garlic in oil until tender.

Add sugar, vinegar, soy, bouillon granules, and 1 3/4 cup water. Bring to boil; boil rapidly for 1 minute.

Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water; stir into hot mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly. Stir in fish. Serve over rice.
