Italian Style Mussels

Mussels with wine and herbs

Servings: 2
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
30-50 fresh mussels
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
1 sliced lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup Pino Grigio wine

Instructions:
In a large pot, add 1 cup wine and heat to boiling.

Add mussels, herbs, lemons and olive oil.

Stir and steam until mussels open.

Discard any that do not open.

Serve as is or on a bed of pasta sprinkled with grated parmesan cheese.
