Servings: 4 | |
| Ingredients: 1 gallon water six ounces crab & shrimp boil (Zatarain's or Louisiana brand) 1/4 cup salt 3 ears corn cut into thirds 3 potatoes cut into chunks 4 large onions cut into quarters 2 pounds large shrimp un-peeled, but deheaded 1 link smoked or Italian sausage cut into 1 inch pieces 3 tablespoons cooking oil found at http://www.fresh-seafood.net/ |

| Instructions: Don't underestimate the size of the pot you'll need for this. Bring water to a boil, add oil, crab boil, salt, and potatoes. Boil 10 minutes. Add corn, onions, and sausage. Boil five minutes. Add shrimp and boil 5 minutes. Don't over cook shrimp or they will be rubbery and difficult to peel. Drain, serve with lots of toasty, crusty buttered French bread. Have fun eating them with friends, with corn. It's great with cold drinks. |
