| A Louisiana style rice casserole
Servings: 4 | |
| Ingredients: 1 cup white rice 2 cups shrimp 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup bell pepper 1/2 cup green onions 1/2 cup celery 1 stick margarine or butter 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp pepper dash red pepper found at http://www.fresh-seafood.net/ |

| Instructions: Cook rice in 2 cups water. Boil shrimp with 1 tablespoon shrimp seasoning for 3 to 5 minutes. Peel shrimp. Saute bell pepper, green onions and celery in butter. Mix all ingredients with soup and cheese. Add salt and peppers. Pour 2-quart casserole dish. Bake at 325; until hot and bubbly, 20 to 25 minutes. |
