Fried Spadefish Fillets With Lemon - Butter Sauce

fried spadefish glazed with a nice lemon - butter sauce

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:
4 - 8 to 10 ounce skinned fillets
1/4 cup milk
Salt and Pepper
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 stick butter
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. chopped parsley

Instructions:
Mix milk with salt and pepper in a shallow bowl and add fillets. Remove fillets and coat with flour.

Heat oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in heavy skillet. Add fish. Cook fish until golden brown on both sides (approximately 4 minutes

per side.)

Remove fish from skillet and place on a warm platter. Pour off fat from skillet.

Add remaining butter

and cook shaking and stirring the pan until the butter is golden brown. Add lemon juice. Now pour the sauce

out of the skillet and over the fillets and sprinkle fillets with parsley .
