The Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Seafood Festival on May 5, 2010. Held on the first Wednesday in May- noon until 4pm it is always an extemely popular event and a great way for businesses and employees to network while enjoying local seafood at it;s finest.
This year the band Midnight Country Express will perform- the band has been around for over 15 years and has performed at many local venues- with a mix of country and a selection from the Eagles to Garth Brooks- it promises to be a fun day for all.
The ticket price is $40 and includes steamed clams, clams and oysters on the half shell, single-fried oysters, oyster fritters, clam fritters, clam chowder, clam strips, grilled chicken tenders, French-fried sweet potatoes, boardwalk fries, hush puppies, spoon bread, bottled water, soda and much, much more.
